odywork improves my performance in
my sport. I’m an amateur triathlete
who enjoys keeping an active lifestyle for health and balance. The first year that I incorporated massage
and specialized bodywork into my training and workout plan, I achieved from
10% to 20% improvements in my performance at triathlons and running
events. Additionally, I recovered from
the muscle fatigue and stresses of working out much more quickly by scheduling
a massage shortly after my event. Massage can benefit anyone who is
trying to improve their active lifestyle: • Faster recovery
from micro damage and trauma from workouts Whether you’re a professional
athlete preparing for an event, whether you’re a weekend warrior who gets
together with friends for football, basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis,
inline hockey, or whatever sport your into, or whether you keep a gym routine
for your healthy lifestyle, massage is an important factor in your health,
fitness, and well-being. I'm a Certified Massage Therapist providing
integrative massage based on Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage
techniques. I graduated from the San Francisco
School of Massage and am a member of the Associated Bodywork &
Massage Professionals.
I attend continuing education workshops in sports massage, deep
tissue, Thai massage, Zen Shiatsu, Esalen massage, yoga, and meditation to
compliment my bodywork training on an ongoing basis. Additionally, as a balance to my
sports and bodywork, I have an extensive background in business
management. I earned my Bachelors of
Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from |
